Security

We will be talking about personal information which you would prefer to remain confidential.

It is possible for technicians and administrators to be able to see non-secure email.

For the sake of confidentiality all our exchanges should take place through a secure server There are secure email account providers and you might prefer to set up an account with one of them for our discussions. Some provide a free service, I can advise you of the options available if you wish.

In case you would like to contact me via ordinary email or via SMS, please try and keep the information to practical issues such as re-scheduling appointments as these are not encrypted.

Security: other considerations

Think about who else may have access to your emails. Depending on where you are sending from, your files or email traffic may be accessible by :

Real world contact information. I will be asking you for 'real world' contact information other than that which we will use for our work together, this is to cover emergencies and potential system failures.
